About Me
Ciao! I am Elisa, founder of Dog Project and professional trainer.
I studied Zoology and Animal Management at the Royal Agricultural University but my passion for dogs and training started at an early age.

Growing up in the 90's, I had the pleasure to live with two Dobermans and a dog trainer stepfather who inspired me but, at the same time, made me think that there must be a better way to communicate and train dogs than the traditional approach.

While studying and observing animals, I developed a profound interest in training and behaviour; in fact, I decided to pursue myself this career learning from the best animal trainers in the UK.
In 2018 I moved to the North Oxfordshire Cotswolds to work for Amazing Animals, since they were involved in the professional training and supplying of pet and wild animals for the media industry for four decades.

Few years later, for ethics reasons, I started focusing on the welfare aspect of this industry, as I realised too many animals were misunderstood and mistreated, in the case of dogs, very often inadvertently by their owners.
At the moment, I am working with stray dogs and rescues while educating people understanding, respecting and communicating with their beloved pets.

I am a fully accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and qualified instructor of the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour. I adhere to the IMDT and ADTB Codes of Ethics.
